We created The Decider to address the common challenge of decision-making when faced with multiple options. Many individuals experience decision paralysis, struggling to make choices quickly and confidently. We wanted to provide a tool that simplifies this process, reduces the stress associated with making decisions, and turns it into a fun and engaging activity. The primary challenge was to create an app that was both simple and effective, focusing on randomness to alleviate the burden of choice while maintaining a user-friendly interface.

Solution

The Decider was developed with the goal of simplifying decision-making through a combination of customizable subjects and random selection. Users can create personalized lists by adding, modifying, or removing subjects based on their preferences. The app then generates random selections from the chosen category, adding an element of excitement and surprise to the process. Interactive components, such as spinning a virtual wheel, enhance the experience by providing unique visuals and relevant information to help users make informed choices.
