Challenge

Renting retail space in shopping malls is not a new concept. The innovation here is elsewhere. The entire process - from searching for space through payment to handing over the rented space - is carried out in the mobile app. Our app prioritises flexibility - you can even rent a space for just 1 hour. The short-term rental market is constantly changing. The remote rental of space by the hour via a mobile app is an innovation that aligns perfectly with new customer demands. While we were working on the application, integration with external systems turned out to be a challenge. We had to combine the system for automatic invoicing with a payment system (PayU) and with a system for automatic lock handling. An additional limitation was the short time frame. We had barely 6 months during which we had to select the functions in a way that would allow us to make something cool and foremost useful. At this point, it is worth mentioning that the app is the world's first example of the successful integration of Flutter technology and PayU's SDK.

Solution

In the app, you can rent a shop space for a few hours or a few days. You can, for example, rent the space over the weekend or at selected times during the day. You are in charge Everything is carried out in mobile app. Once you have paid for the rental of the space, you will receive a code to open the room. There is no need to hand over the keys. Instruction on how to use the room is also within the app, in the description. Besides, in the app, you will also browse real photos - you can see exactly what the rental spaces look like. You save time and you don’t risk You do not call, nor make an appointment. No one mediates the handover. All you need is app. It only takes 5 minutes to rent a space. And because short-term rentals are low-risk. You can stop renting virtually any time.
